Trainee Attendance Awards are announced.

Special Trainee Award for Accepted Abstract

Awards will be given to the first 100 accepted abstracts. These awards, available to trainees attending the conference, will reduce the registration fee by 50% (a $125 value) for the first 100 accepted abstracts (co-) authored by graduate/undergraduate students or postdocs. The awards will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis based on the time of abstract submission.

Undergraduate Student Attendance Award

The conference is also offering a limited number of awards to undergraduate students who wish to attend the conference, regardless of whether they submit abstracts or not. These awards will reduce their registration fee by 75% and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested undergraduate students should email the Awards and Recognition Co-Chairs, Dr. Ali Nasseri (mnasseri@ualberta.ca) and Dr. Dieter Buechler (dieter.buechler@ualberta.ca), a short (1/3-page) expression of interest about attending the conference.
